I made this pretty banner last fall, to decorate a little booth I had at the Fall Festival for my daughter's school. It was the very first time I tried to sell my photos in person and it was a little scary/ Estas banderitas las hice el otoño pasado, para decorar un puesto que tuve en el festival de otoño de la escuela de Sofia.
I had never put myself out there like that. I was nervous about what the other parents and teachers would think of my work and if I would sell anything at all/ Yo nunca me había arriesgado asi, y me daba nervios el sólo pensar que opinarían los padres y maestros al ver mis fotos. No tenía idea si vendería algo o no.
To my surprise, I received lots of great compliments, did some great networking and sold two images/ Para mi sorpresa recibí muy lindos comentarios y vendí dos fotos.
But the best reward came when my daughter Sofia brought several of her friends over to the booth. She was so proud and excited to show them my work. I had to fight back tears of joy. That alone made it all worth it.
Here are the instructions I followed to make the banner/ Aqui estan las instrucciones para hacaer las banderitas.
